Gore Research Pty Ltd specialise in digital control electronics. Over the past 21 years we have worked with a small number of inventors who had novel ideas that just needed some technical expertise to make it all happen.
Our design team can organise the schematics & printed circuit board layouts, along with production assembly & testing.
We will sign confidentiality agreements before you explain your product to us. We build product in Adelaide, South Australia but can also organise to have product built overseas if the numbers warrant it.
Our Research & Development Team use the following specialist engineering software products to design our printed circuit boards & to program the microcontrollers:
- Realizer Visual Programming Software. Developed in The Netherlands by Actum Solutions, this is our preferred programming software for the Microchip PIC and STM range of microprocessors. The software is powerful, intuitive & the customer support is excellent. You can find out more at www.actum.com

- We have used Altium Printed Circuit Board Design Software (formally Protel International) since 1990. The software has become much more difficult to use in recent years & has some serious bugs in it. Altium is a large company with relatively expensive software; however they will not fix the bugs without further substantial cost to us. We therefore have been moving over to the software packages listed below.
- A relatively new-comer on the block in Printed Circuit Board Design Software is Diptrace. Developed by two Ukrainian Engineers, this software is easy to drive & very powerful. Their software support is excellent & they continually listen to their customers. This ensures worthwhile features are regularly added. You can find out more at www.diptrace.com and www.novarm.com
- Other members of our engineering team have grown up with Circad Printed Circuit Board Design Software. Developed in Florida (USA) by 2 brothers in 1992, Circad has a great user interface that is easy to learn. You can find out more at www.holophase.com
